About Tiny Wings
Tiny Wings offers a unique and delightful gaming experience that combines simple one-touch controls with engaging physics simulation. Players control a small bird with tiny wings who dreams of flying. Unable to fly far on its own, the bird utilizes the undulating landscape by sliding down hills to gather momentum and launching upwards to glide through the air. The core gameplay loop is intuitive and highly addictive: tap and hold the screen to tuck into a dive while going downhill, releasing at the bottom of a valley to launch into the air and glide. The goal is to travel as far as possible before the sun sets and darkness descends, ending the run.
The game is visually stunning with a unique, hand-drawn art style that dynamically changes with the time of day and the different islands visited. Each island features procedurally generated terrain, ensuring that no two runs are exactly alike. Collecting coins spread across the islands provides score bonuses and fills a 'fever' meter. Achieving 'fever' mode grants a temporary burst of speed and invincibility, allowing the player to soar higher and further.
Tiny Wings includes two primary game modes: 'Day Trip' and 'Flight School'. 'Day Trip' is the classic endless mode where players aim for the highest distance and score. 'Flight School' is a competitive local multiplayer mode where two players race each other on a shared screen. Both modes emphasize mastering the game's simple yet deep physics system.
